2001:GBC takes 5th in 2001 Region X rankings.

GBC finishes 3rd in the CACC for 2001.

Teammates Ricardo Ardila & Ahmad Alkadars earn places on the 2001 CACC All Conference Team. Ricardo placed 3rd, with a time of 29:13, and senior Ahmad placed 8th with a running time of 29:50.

Ahmad Alkadars places 1st in the Philadelphia Bible College Invitational (10/6/01) with a time of 29:42, setting a new course record.

In a historic debut, the GBC Lightning wins its first competition at the Arcadia University Invitational (9/8/01).
